Bob Tach roll back

rainy day so I decided to replace that center tilt pin on the bobtach. Pin came right out no problemo. I heated and cooled the bushing and had a socket the right size so I pounded on it for about an hour or so. It moved a 16th of an inch maybe and I busted up the socket. Went to Lowes and picked up a Diablo Brand Carbide Thick Metal cutting recip blade for my sawzall. In about 5 minutes overall, I was able to cut 2 slots in the bushing and the piece popped out. Then the bushing popped out so fast I didn't see it on the ground. I only deeded to cut one slot as it would have been enough to free up the bushing. This blade is awesome. Never even affected the teeth. Had the new bushing in the freezer and it drove right in. Couldn't get the two small seals on however as they got tore up when I tried to get them in. No play in this pin and bushing now. NONE! Hoping the pins and bushings on the two lower arms will be as easy when I am ready. Thank you everyone for the support and great ideas.

Only problem is I believe the lower are blind holes so hopefully your blade can get in there to cut

check if the tilt cylinder is fully moving back full stroke, had a 743 the tilt was not coming fully back, took the pivot pin out and still not working, took the cylinder apart and at some time the piston rod bent causing the piston skirt to shear off, the skirt wedged between the piston and cylinder bottom preventing the full stroke return of cylinder, Straightened the rod on the press and turned up a new piston

I know this is months ago but never responded and I apologize for that laurencen. With the new pin and bushing in, the bobtach comes back fully. No slop what so ever. The acid test was to see if the back hoe would hook up with out pushing on the ground or against a tree. Hooked up like a dream. No hesitation and was rock solid. Taking backhoe off was equally sweet. Everything works great. When the weather warms up a little more than the current temp of -7, in Michigan, I will replace the bottom boom pins and bushings.
