On my lx 665 I cannot find a 12v aux plug in, the dealer says he thinks it should have one in the vicinity of the left headlight. I have looked at Ken's photos of his heater install and I can't see one there either. If anyone has a picture of where it is located I would appreciate it. Thanks

this 12v plug in is mentioned in the books but no pictures of where it is located although there are instructions on how to wire in additional outlets. If it was a option maybe very few machines had it?

I looked through my service maual last nite but found no mention of it. Though I had seen it as a option somewhere. I'll try looking through the owners manual when I get a chance.
Seems tome they put it in the panels outside the seat by your hips.

My 03' ls170 has the auxillary 12 v outlet up beside the right headlight.Tucked back under the roof.It has a flip up door just like a trailer light plug on a truck.

Thanks, that is where I thought it should be according to pictures in the book. I don't have a beacon switch in the panel either so I think I have the stripped down model.

I have awesome 12V receptacle with spring loaded covers that keep the dirt out. These come with plug and 3' of high quality wire. Easy install. I have 3 in every car, truck and piece of equipment. LMK if your interested. $15 shipped ea.

Thanks, I already bought a socket if I ever get time between the snow and trying to figure out the electrical problem on this thing I will have to put it in.
