Are seat bars the same in several models?

One part missing from my 843 is the seat bar. Someone took it out, and I am thinking of replacing it. Just not sure if they are still available and at what price. I could just install a seat belt, but if I can find the original style part, I will.

I would think the seat bars from the machines made in simular years. They are used the same cabs in many of the 600 and all the 700 and 800 series. I'm not sure if the first models with the seatbar also had the mechanical foot pedal safety locks but I would think so. Other then the padding going bad the re should be a good supply of bars around somewhere. i can't really see what would happen to them.

there are differences in the ways the bars are lifted/held in the upward position. Some of the, I think, newes ones use a lift strut similar to what holds your trucks hood in the air or that helps you lift the cab us. The other ones have two small parts that spring into place to hold it in the upmost position......
