It coudl also be one of the relays, try switching with another relay as they should all be the same.Checked your fuses?

Farmer 595, I had a similar problem. I traced my power source to the alternator connection (the post on the back of the altenator). That is were the power comes from. The connection to the alternator was clean. I cleaned it again but I still had no power to the starter. You turn the key and some times nothing. Well my father is an electronics man, he said to cut off the eye terminals at the altenator put new terminals on and solder them. He told me this over the phone after I told him what I had. Sure enough there was corrosion on the ends of the crimped connection that bolts to the back of the altenator.does anyone know where I can get wirinr schematics for this machine
