773 lift and tilt problem

I've just rebuilt a used control valve and installed on my 773, and replaced a bunch of hoses. While it was apart I serviced everything I could find and it was no small list. Both case drain filters, 7 hoses, washed out the reservoir, new bushings on the steering levers and lift/ tilt linkage, several pins, all other filters and fluids.. tonight I started it back up after bleeding the fuel system and it runs great. But, I only have bucket tilt down, not up and no lift. The machine is a 98 773F with the rectangle lights, standard key start (no BOSS). The seat bar light goes out on the BICS when lowered, and the other lights all go out when I hit the push to operate button, nice loud click. The aux hydraulics are inoperable at the moment as the push button switch is removed. The BICS solenoid is unknown, came with the used valve. Controls do the following: Bucket down: buried the bobtach plate in the dirt. Bucket up: nothing at all Boom up: gets a slight movement then nothing Boom down: same So, When the hydraulic system on these is completely empty, or close to it, do I need to crack any of the hydraulic lines to bleed air out? Or could this be a bad BICS solenoid? What am I missing? Thanks in advance. SD

Checked for power at the BICS solenoid, so that's not it. Bled some air from the lift cylinders, but they still wouldn't go up. Had a thought, and what do you know? It is possible to install the BICS solenoid upside down, and it will make a clicking sound, but not do anything. I turned it over and everything operates as it is supposed to. My polish heritage shining through..

From what you describe, i believe it's your lift lock solenoid or BICS solenoid you mention. It's either that or the stem that screws into the control block (well the block that bolts to the block)
What you describe, it moves a little then stops is exactly what happens when the lift lock solenoid is not operating.
Hopefully it's that simple.

Having some problems like this with my 753. Where do I find the lift lock solenoid? MY valve block has 2 solenoids on top. Is one of those the lift lock solenoid?

The ones at either end is the aux control, you want one that site at right angles to them i think. If you can't find it, take a picture, look up my profile and email me the picture, i'll tell you where it is.
