I seen a 763 for sale the guy said bucket wont raise up what could be wrong? Could it be hydraulics or electrics? i think the year is 1999 it has the square cab. Thanks in advance.
Could be a safety interlock issue. If it doesn't detect you're in the seat and seat bar down, it will lock you out. It could also be as simple as a bad lockout coil or stem.

I'm going to take a look at it tomorrow can you give me any tips on how to identify if its a hydraulic problem. im just afraid of buying a machine with a hydraulic problem because I'm clueless when it comes to hydraulics . Thanks very much for help tazza

If its a BICS machine, look at the box on your.... Right side when sitting down? Check all the lights are on, if it detects the seat bar or seat sensor is not activated it won't unlock.
If it drives when you press the traction lock overide button, i'd suspect a sensor.
Sorry i can't give you better advise, you can lift the cab and check for power at the coil too, if you power it with 12V it should have a tiny click and the lift/tilt should operate.
