743 Engine Cooling Fan

My 743 had a previous engine fire and melted the fan housing and also damaged the flywheel fan. Is there a place to buy a good used on or will it cause the engine to be unbalanced with some of the fins damaged or partially missing ? I have the new shroud but hesitate to reinstall the engine until I know it will cool properly. Any help would be appreciated since I am new to owning a skid steer I have very little knowledge about them.

Its possible there will be some vibration, the only way around it is to get it balanced if you are worried. I'm not sure where to get it done though. I am working on a mates machine, it looks like it ate a brick. There are a few bent fins and a few missing. When the engine was running, it didn't feel like it was vibrating. I didn't rev it up that much though, maybe 1/2 throttle.
The cooling fan is pretty good on these machines, they do move quite a bit of air.

I have thought about putting a puller fan on top of the radiator to help with air flow but would rather not have to. I pulled the tilt cylinder off and tore it down to fix a leaking seal and also cleaned up the engine area. I noticed the radiator is new but it is shorter than the opening for it so someone pieced it together after the fire. Is there antwhere to get a new or used radiator reasonable? I guess I could sell the one I have and then get the right one. Just don't want to have it torn down too long.

I think i have seen new radiators on Ebay at a reasonable price. I'd do a little searching there to see what you can find.
I know what you mean, you don't want to do the job twice. The good thing is, the engine is easy to remov/replace.
