If I let it cool down for 15 minutes it will restart. I've replaced the Fuel Shutoff solenoid and relay but that didn't help. The warning light comes on when I first start but I can't find anything to tell me what that means and I'm not sure it's relevant.

I don't know, as I said I can't find anything to tell me exactly what it means.
The warning light comes on immediately when starting so its not temperature which is why I don't believe it is related to the not starting when hot issue.

according to the service manual:
Warning lights: Engine Oil Pressure & Temperature, Hyd. Oil Temp. & Pressure.

logically it may be suggestive of low pressure if it comes on straight away and stays on.
but I've checked all those levels and replaced all the filters so I've really no idea.

The main issue is not starting when hot. Any ideas as to why that might happen?

I'm not familiar with that machine but could it be a bad temperature sensor?

From what I can remember there are two lights on the left panel. The top light is for the engine and the bottom is for the hydraulics.

I just can't remember if they are oil pressure or temperature. Not sure if that machine has a safety shutdown for temperature and or pressure or not. The parts catalog does show a hydraulic temperature switch though.
