463 won't start when hot

If I let it cool down for 15 minutes it will restart. I've replaced the Fuel Shutoff solenoid and relay but that didn't help. The warning light comes on when I first start but I can't find anything to tell me what that means and I'm not sure it's relevant.

there is only one. it's on the left control panel next to the key

I should have worded it better, what does the light monitor?? coolant temp,oil pressure,alternator voltage?? we need a hint here to help you out.
