257B How do you float the arms

All that I have found on floating the work piece or arms is to put it in the indent. Exactly where is this, the operators manual does not explain this very well. Do you lower the arms as far as they will go or is it somewhere in between up and down. Need to move snow but cannot get the blade to float. Appreciate and answers that might help.
 
hi mate i have a 257b and all i do to get it to float is push the right stick forward to lot the boom down then push it forward a bit more and is will lock into float mode

Thanks, thats where I have been trying to get it to float. Ground is still frozen today so will try again.

With my 247b all I have to do is push the stick full forward and hold it there. If the boom is all the way down when you start there is a natural tendency to let go before you get full forward because the machine will start to tip back right away.
