2016 T740 swash plate sensor code 75-27

Getting code 75-27 (left swash plate out of position) the machine is 2800 hours. It throws the code and decelerates and shuts down. I can turn it back on and keep working for a few mins and then it does the same thing. I am also noticing some bronze or brass tiny sand like particles in the hydraulic fluid. I have tried to clean the sensor while it’s still in the machine. I have drained fluid, and I’m trying to decide if I should replace sensor and or hydraulic pump or if there is a more simple less expensive approach. Also, if I just want to replace the sensor... can I get it out without pulling the hydraulic pump since it’s on bottom?

I had a T180 that was throwing a bad swash plate code. Had to replace the sensor ($600 I think???), but had to pull the engine to access the sensor. I troubleshot it by swapping cables left-to-right and the sensor error stayed with the sensor, so the cable harness wasn't the problem. [to be clear, with the cables swapped, then sensor error reported was then the opposite sensor]

Unsure what to make of the brass or bronze particles in the hydro juice. Doesn't sound good. Fairly easy to change the hydro filter (cut it apart and see what's in there). Seems like my T180 had two hydro filters, on behind the engine and one below decks between the operator's feet.

Have you called a Bobcat dealer, and asked about the 75-27 code? What did they say?

I would be interested to know if that is a SJC machine with Two Speed. If it is you probably have a major hydraulic failure. The two speed motors in that year had issues and caused the drive pumps to fail. Brass in the hydraulic oil and dark hydraulic are signs of a major failure. Serial number range of T740 with bad motors is T740 T4 B3CA12729 - B3CA16585. Part number of old drive motor in the T7XX machines is 7282835.
