1999 gehl skid steer battery

new member the machine calls for 12 dc volt 950 cold cranking amps can any battery be used as long as you use 950 cca say a die hard battery? Thanks for any help with question. scott

As long as it meets that spec and will fit in place, I see no reason why you can't use any battery really.
I have used automotive batteries before, I found they lasted just as well for me as expensive HD batteries did. I just use mine for private use, so they don't really get beaten up all that much.
