Just got a 530 wondering if there is any adjustment for the drive chains.
There is no adjuster for chain tension. I've been in there and I don't understand why Bobcat didn't provide a way to adjust chain tension.

Has anyone found a way to repower the 530 without having to spend 3-4k buying the Honda motor and kit.

mine is the 533. Same as yours except diesel. Had to rebuild mine. Costs allot more than the 530 gas one.

I am at the assy process after changing barrings and chains and seals and a couple hosed and those pesky orings. You had mentioned you got your brake working again..How did you do that?

Awesome! I was wondering how your repair was coming along. As to the brake, I just had to adjust it. The rod between the pedal and brake caliper is threaded. I had to snug the nut up a few turns. Now I have to remember to release the brake when I start moving. The Bobcat has enough power to overcome that brake, so it's easy to forget you have it engaged.

Well I got it all back together and have another leak now.Its one of the big hoses that go into the top of the pump..Looks like a banjo type fitting. Anyone know if these have orings or copper washers?
