Bobcat 843 gear reduction unit oil

To answer my own question, it looks like there is a port at the bottom of the gear reduction unit. The gearcase oil wasn't mentioned in the manual, so I wanted to make sure.

    873F No lift or tilt

I'm new to skidsteers like you, but have a lot of automotive experience. The diode protects the module. It's ok to use a solenoid with an integrated diode, but you need to make sure the connector is keyed so that it only goes on the correct way. The manuals are a good source of educational...

    hydraulic pump for 743b

What's your serial number I'll look up a diagram to see what you are working with. If you are talking about a hole in the plunger, there is usually a relief in the bore around the working area of the hole, so that position doesn't matter. Sometimes things rotate while in use.

Rebulding the hydrostatic pump Bobcat 873 f

When you get it apart, you will most likely be able to read the numbers on the bearings. Search them up and it will be a lot cheaper than ordering based on the bobcat part number.

Wow. Any way to get text formatting to stay once posted? That seems extremely hard to follow. Thanks.

Hello everyone! Two months ago I bought a pair of bobcats in desperate need of some attention. The main project is a 1990 843B (5037620XX), which suffered an exploded u-joint coupler causing the rear pump shaft to break, damaged a couple hydraulic tubes, as well as blower and shroud damage...
