I thought the 99's went to the triangled lights and anything before 99 had the retangluar lights??? Thanks for any help on this load check valve deal. I am always eager to learn and...

Left foot pedal bleeding pressure off

It's funny you ask if it's a G model Ken as I just tried calling the dealer who sold the unit originally. They said they could not find the account so I am going to get the vin for the dealer to help me figure out which model it is. Ken when I find out I will let you know and thanks for the help...

Left foot pedal bleeding pressure off

Yeah everything seems ok other than I think the sticks could use new bushings and blocks. Sometimes it is very very jumpy and it sounds like it could be a result of worn bushings and blocks. It's a 773 with 2000 hours on it.

Left foot pedal bleeding pressure off

I have noticed when operating the left foot control if you just slightly go into the up position the arms actually start dropping down instead of going up??? Not sure why it's bleeding pressure off? Is something out of adjustment or worn? Was wondering if there was a simple fix or if it would be...

    New Seat Question?

Tazza, I might kick myself after you answer but who is TVH? 200.00 seems like a fair price. It it make much differance putting in a seat with semi-suspension?

    New Seat Question?

I was watching a bid on ebay for an original bobcat seat & I was going to bid on it but I started thinking about looking into one that has a little bid of spring/suspension to it. Anybody know of a good seat that is a better replacment from the original? The one on ebay went for 90.00 which was...

    Bobcat stunts

You should go to some of the sites like you tube and run a search on bobcat video's. The best I have seen is one where a guy is spinning around real fast on the front wheels only with the bucket about half raised. It was pretty impressive...

    Bobcat drive belt tensioner failure

Cool now I understand how it works and what has happened. Sounds simple enough - the only worry is the spring loaded deal. I have never had much luck repl the rope of pull start with the coil spring you mentioned so I hope the spring in this setup is much easier to deal with... Thanks again...

    Bobcat drive belt tensioner failure

Ok now I am going to have to check mine. Looking at the pictures I am not sure what bushing you are talking about? Was the bearing turning ok/not siezing up? With the amount of dirt these things are subjected to I would think the bearing would not be freely spinning to cause that kind of damage...

I DID IT!!! MY 773 PROJECT

Hello Tazza, I did adjust that side first and then after goofing around forever I figured out that the back part of the lever/pivet would not touch with out grinding that hole out. Hey I have a question for you. Is it is common for the chain case plug to leak? I have black oil leaking and it...

I DID IT!!! MY 773 PROJECT

I'm excited, I finally got the excessive play out of the of the steering and the unit no longer creeps. Tazza was right, I was not aware that the Bobcat people would be so helpful on working on a unit. One of the techs explained how these little blocks get wear on them and that they can be...

My work in progress 98 773

Thanks again Tazza on the reply - I am with you on any movment causing additional wear. I just talked to a neighbor just threw away a 7 series service manual. Since he used to work on them I am going to try get with him to see if he knows. I agree it will not be to hard to keep up on keeping the...

My work in progress 98 773

Ok I am still getting crap out of this thing but I have another ? I found that the left side stick was loose back at the valve. I tightend this pinch bolt up so there was no play anymore and the thing wanted to creep after starting it up. I first tried to adjust stick linkage that has the two...

My work in progress 98 773

Ok guys I got tired of the hyd. fluid dripping still (The prev. owner had just lost a line and 10 gallon's of fluid prior to purchase) so I started de-funking this thing and so far I have gotten about 70 Lbs. of crap removed. I figured it would be best to tell if it has any active leaks by...
