thanks for the advise tightened it today and no more squeal. Next is the heater blower motor. Do you have to lift the cab to get the bolts/screws out of the top of the blower chassis. Norm
I have a 773 that squeals on heavy load. I assume the drive belt needs adjusting. Can anyone give me a little heads up on how to get it tightened. Does the cab need to be lifted? Thanks Norm Reitan
I have a 773 with the fan motor working periodically. Did your motor act the same? I havnt looked into getting the unit out. Do you have to lift the cab and get behind it? Thanks Norm Reitan
Thanks for replies! That looks like the temps are really close. I'll try the infrared guage. Do the termostats come in hotter settings? I would think a 200-210 might work. Thanks Norm
I'm new to the board so I hope I can gain some advice about my 1998 773 I just purchased. It seems like it dosn't want to warm up (North Dakota). Are the thermostats a problem and if so are they hard to change? I was thinking of some type of winter cover over the radator? The gauge shows one bar...
