    Hydraulic oil and the cold

Ok guys have a quick question. I have a 632 that the hydraulic tank is on the left side of the machine. Has anyone here ever use a magnetic tank heater to warm up the fluid before using their machine in the winter. Now keep in mind I am in MN with temps below 0 sometimes. Was just thinking it...

    Bobcat 610 not moving

I am posting for a friend of mine across the street from me. He has a 610 that started giving him some issues last winter. It would not move forward or backwards. It starts up and runs just fine. This past summer it started working again. Now again since we are having some cold weather it does...

Oil for Bobcat 632 (not the motor oil)

Hey guys.... I have a couple of questions about my 632. First are there two oil reservoirs on this machine. One that the chains sit in and one for the rest of the machine? Is the one the chains are sitting in the drive reservoir. Reason for asking is that for about the first hour of operation...

Bobcat 632 bogging down on hills

I checked the oil level this morning and oil came out so I am going to assume the level is ok. It has to be an adjustment Steve

Bobcat 632 bogging down on hills

I have a service manual but do not see any instructions for filling one or the correct type of oil to use. Does anyone have these instructions. I never knew it had oil in there. Steve

Bobcat 632 bogging down on hills

The best way I can describe what is happening is when I go up an incline the engine boggs. I can't tell if it is starving for gas of getting too much. I understand there is some sort of governor pump on the back side that is connected to the carb with linkage. Could that be my problem? Usually...

    Bobcat 610 fuel pump

Does anyone have a cross reference number for a fuel pump for the 610 with the wisconsin engine? Numbers on the tag on the fuel pump are 6516374 & 4816 Thanks Steve

    Bobcat 742 water pump

Thanks for the reply. The machine is actually a 742B if that makes any difference. I just knew there had to be something more reasonable out there. Thanks Much Steve

    Bobcat 632 fuel pump

The Bobcat fuel pump does not fit either. It is clocked just wrong. The outlet is right in the way of the choke arm on the carb. Anyone see anything wrong with going with an electric low flow pump. I am thinking at this point it might be the easiest way to go. Steve

    Bobcat 632 fuel pump

I found out one thing today. I picked up the Carter M6565 that lots of folks say they fit. It did not in my machine. The outlet nipple is right in the way of the choke linkage to the point where the choke would not function. I called bobcat and they have one waiting for me in the morning so I...

    Bobcat 632 fuel pump

Does anyone have a reference number for a fuel pump for my 632 that I can give to NAPA and other stores. The bobcat dealers prices are sky high. Also the one on the machine has a 1/4" spacer between the pump and the engine. Is that normal? Steve

    Bobcat 632 carb issues

Guys I need some help/advice.... I parked the machine the other day and did not turn off the gas petcock. I noticed a gas smell and I had gas pouring out of the air intake hose. I am thinking a float or something has to be sticking in the carb. Now the fun part is how do you get the carb off of...

    Bobcat 632 drive motors

Well I decided to try to get that bronze filter out one more time yesterday. Took the center line off of the port block and removed the large nut with the spring behind it and the filter came out with the spring with no problems. Go figure.....It must have been stuck to the back of the port...

    632 Port Block

Has anyone taken the port block off of a 632 or similar vintage machine? I am going to have to remove mine so I can get to that bronze filter screen. Also and ideas on how to stop the flow of fluid from the hoses when I take them off? Steve

    Bobcat 632 drive motors

Anyone ever take the port block off? I figured if I could get it off I could see what I was doing with removing the bronze filter. On another note when taking that center line off that has the filter behind it, how can you stop the oil from flowing out and dumping gallons of oil on the ground...
