bobcat 753 bucket wont lift unless aux. thumb switch is to the left

The problem is simple: You can't use a universal ignition switch. It makes the aux hydro activated, the same as when you turn the key all the way to the left to release the hydros. put in a regular bobcat switch and your problem is solved. Don't ask how I figured it out.....

    car trailer

The 753 only weighs in at right under 5K, so you should be alright. I wouldn't do long hauling with it, but locally you should be ok. I had to use my 7k trailer to haul my 753 around during the winter, since I didn't have another trailer to use. Just be smart about it, and watch it when you are...

    763 or S185

Me personally: if the 763 is in good shape, I'd go with that. The S185 maybe a little bigger, but it has many more hours and doesnt have all the attachments. Unless you need to lift heavier objects, go with the 763. My opinion.

    lift arm on t190

When I take the green rubber cap off, all there is, is a clean solid metal cylinder looking object bolted to the back of the valve block.

    lift arm on t190

Haven't fixed the problem yet, but I noticed the back side of the control block is leaking, right around one of the two cylinders. It was leaking out of the one with the green rubber cap on it. I tightened the bolts that hold it on, which helped a little. Is this the check valve that you were...

tracks or tires for snow removal

nilestracing is so right. tracks are useless on ice, but then again, so are regular tires. In 20+" of snow if went through it like there was nothing there. I have the tracks without the c-notch, too.

    763 bobtach froze up

With that said, an air chisel with a flat ended rod would do the same, and probably faster too. Hadn't thought of using one until now. When mine were stuck we beat the bottom of the pins with a 4 lb mini sledge to work them up and then on the top to work them back down. I find having some one...

    Switches and bucket positioning option

I take it the wiring and controls aren't there for the soleniod? There are times I would love it to work, especially when my day is loading trucks. Anybody know what it takes to get it to work?

    Tips for spreading dirt

I forgot to mention that I always keep the machine close to level, so when you are doing your 45 degree pass, you'll have to raise the arms to get the bucket that steep so the machine stays level-ish. With a wheel machine you want to keep the front wheels just off the ground, so the weight will...

    Tips for spreading dirt

When I show my guys how to do grade, I tell them the flatter the bucket to the ground, the finer the grade and more compact the dirt is. So, when you start have the bucket tilted up on a 45 degree angle to get a rough grade and drag backwards. Always backwards. Then put the bucket down to like...

    Got a deal on a 7753?

I had one and it was a good machine. Bobcat shows it has the same specs as a 773. I'd definiately get it, as it seems like a good deal.

fan gear box found cheaper for older models

I was on this website called surpluscenter.com today and found this gearbox for $99. I don't know how much cheaper it is than the dealer, but I'd thought I would share the find. https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?UID=2009091915410498&item=13-1422&catname=powerTrans

Parts info on track drive motors

I put 200 hours on the machine and everything is holding up fine on the motors. Now its random hose failures. Never ends!

Correct (Safe) way to load on trailer?

I surprised nobody mentioned trailer rating! Make sure your trailer is rated to safely hold the weight of the machine. Nothing worse then seeing someone with a lawn trailer trying to haul there machine around. Get a heavy duty trailer and MAKE SURE YOUR BRAKES WORK!!!!!!!!!! I was told that the...
