My 742 did not have a sending unit when I got it so I installed this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/233799145858 It only lasts about 4 months, then the sending unit melts. I've replaced it once and the same thing happened. Could this be because I may be getting more than 12 volts to the gauge...

I need to replace the pivot pins on the arms of my 742. Anyone done this and want to give some advice? 6707521 pins.

The one on the 742 is not correct. It operates, but I don't think it tilts downward enough. I have to shake the bucket to empty the contents.

Posting this for others... I had a steel tank and it had no sending unit. I bought a sending unit and a gauge from Ebay for under $20. I took the tank out, drained it and let it sit for 24 hours. Then I cut a hole in the top corner of the tank to allow for the sending unit. I used self tapping...

I need to replace the tilt cylinder on my 742. The one on there is not correct. The number is 6539810. I don't want to spend big bucks on a dealer part so I'm looking for specs on the cylinder. Stroke, bore size and anything else that would help. I'm looking at this one...
