Thanks yall I finally got the solenoid out last night, and I found wrapped aound the bolt inside the spring below the wedge someone had a piece of a coke can in there. I took pics but havent been able to post them. Again thanks for our help.

Ihave a 763F and tried to change the parking brake solenoid but couldn't get the piston to release when I removed the solenoid. Tried taking the plate underneath off to but don't have enough room to take out bolt under the control arms, now cannot release parking brake at all. I am at my wits...
Thanks Bobcatdan after reading the threads I found that out and tightened the altenator belt. Now all I have fix is the parking brake solenoid. Still trying to figure out how to get it all apart but will get it. Thank yall for the threads, it's great reading and has alot of ?'s and answers I...
Well pulled air cleaner and have tried to tighten idler arm, but doesn't seem like I have anymore travel on the bolt. Any suggestions please. I don't have my service manual yet, but I'm working on it. Thanks.
Jumped battery this morning and am getting 14 amps on ampmeter when I checked the belt and the idler arm they are very loose. Does anybody know the easiest way to tighten the belt, do I remove the air cleaner or is the another way. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I've got a 763f and just replaced the battery and terminals. It ran for about 15 minutes and died, I think it might be the alternator but I don't have a service manual yet. If anybody could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
