I just got an older bobcat 853 and I am trying to figure out a problem with the controls. It is very twitchy/sticky, I opened the cab to adjust the control rods but this machine has cables like I have not had on any bobcat before. Is there something on the cable system that wears out? Would the...
Hi guys I broke the hydraulic pump pulley on my 773 and I am trying to find one to replace it. Anyone have an extra pulley laying around I could buy? The part # is 6704424 and it is off a 773 C series with kubota 2203.
Hi, I am getting ready to remove the engine (v2203) from a 199x 773 C series bobcat and was wondering if there are any how tos or pictures posted on the best ways to do it? Thanks!
Hello, I have a new holland/john deere 7775 that has a problem and can not move the boom/bucket. It starts fine and moves but the parking brake light does not go off even when the brake is disengaged. (the brake works mechanically) I believe this is causing my foot pedals to stay locked because...
I have a John Deere 7775 with Yanmar 4TNE88 engine that is blown up. I was looking for a replacement engine and found a 4TNE88-GIA. I can't find out if this is any different then the skidsteer motor or not or what GIA means. Anyone have a clue?
Oh thanks Mike I understand what you are saying now. But what I meant was I am afraid of it free rolling while running/driving up hill. What happened was I was going up hill and it lost all controls and I started rolling backwards with no steering or brakes. It was super low on hydro fluid so I...
Thanks for the info guys. Couple more questions. If everything is working properly with the parking brakes would it stop the skidsteer from moving even if it was low on hydro fluid? Second, what do you mean to not block it up under the wheels? Do you mean not to chock the wheels?
Hello, I bought a early 90's L785 from a logger the other day. I also live on a steep/mountain hill. When I got the skid steer to my house and unloaded it off the trailer it made a sound similar to a chain skipping maybe? I lost all controls, no brake, no steering and it was going by itself...
I am wondering if the Bobtach/Quicktach from a 2009 S220 would fit on a 2001 763G? My levers are rusted and hard to use so I was hoping to swap it for a newer one off a burned bobcat. I haven;t seen it person so I haven't been able to measure it to make sure it will fit. Does anyone know? Thanks!
I have a 763G that turn over but doesn't fire. Before today it would start quickly, if it sat for a long time I would always squeeze primer first. All fluids and filters and battery have less then 10 hours on them only. Any ideas on what to look for?
I just got a beat up 2000/01 763 G and was hoping to find a PDF of the manual to help me start repairing. If anyone has them please let me know. Thanks! [email protected]
