Hello, I have a new holland/john deere 7775 that has a problem and can not move the boom/bucket. It starts fine and moves but the parking brake light does not go off even when the brake is disengaged. (the brake works mechanically) I believe this is causing my foot pedals to stay locked because I can't use them. Anyway to test this to know what is wrong?

This is the way the system works. Key off and the service run switch in the run position. When you sit in the seat the instrument panel lights up and does a self check. When the self check is done the parking brake and seat belt lights remain on. When the seat belt is buckled the seat belt light goes out. When the engine is started the park brake light goes out. Be sure your service run switch is in the run position. If the instrument panel border lines are gray in color, the instrument panel may be the problem because of corrosion. There is no switch on the parking brake. The light is just a reminder.
