    753 just lost all lights

Hi I was just pushing snow with my 94 753 and I lost all of my lights - front and back. Just all of a sudden shut off. Good voltage on the gauge, all gauges work, still starts and runs.....just nothing for lights. Is there a fuse somewhere? If not, I guess I'm going for the light switch? Thanks

    JD317 needs pump - should I buy??

I have the opportunity through a friend to buy a 2006 John Deere 317 skid steer. Apparently, the pump is shot. I haven't looked at it yet, but I want to get a better idea of how these machines work. Is the pump controlling the hydrostatics and hydraulics? or is there a pump for each? Is the pump...

    753 Blown Lift Cylinder Hose

Thanks I did get them out.....not all that easy. The steel rigid lines and the fact that they are tucked up under the aux rigid lines didnt help either. I managed to find some caps too.....too keep the dirt out of the open lines. Another question....... The belt was loose and I grabbed the...

    753 Blown Lift Cylinder Hose

Hi 1994 753 The hydraulic hose for the lift cylinder is leaking on the left side of the machine(as seated in it) Do I need to drain the hydraulic oil? If I remove the lines tonight....I wont have new lines to install until tomorrow night.....with it leak everywhere? Also, the hose on the inside...

Hi 94 753 When I leave the unit outside I plug it in before I start it. When I go to start it, the glow plugs wont cycle because it must sence the engine is warm. 753 cab heater blower motor

I own a 94 753 with an enclosed cab and heater. I was clearing snow last night and the heater blower (fan) motor seized and blew the fuse. I have the blower motor out and apart now, but the part number on it is unreadable. I am afraid to see what Bobcat wants for this part. Any idea where I can...

This cant be good-oil gushing out of chaincase fill plug!!??

Ok, so I am slow getting to this, but I finally have the travel motor out. Just to confirm, it is the motor located behind the cover between the 2 wheels on each side. It has 2 #14 hoses and 1 #6 case drain. I removed the 4 bolts and took the motor out. Next, I removed the seal carrier. It looks...

This cant be good-oil gushing out of chaincase fill plug!!??

Ok, finally getting ready to do this job. (Bobcat is just used for snow in the winter) 1) What size are the lines going to the travel motors? #20? They are 1 3/8" fittings. I assume the hydraulic oil will drain once the hoses are removed. I plan on buying caps. Looks like I will have fun getting...

This cant be good-oil gushing out of chaincase fill plug!!??

Ok, here is a dumb question.... Do I need to drain the chaincase oil to replace the seals? It doesnt actually say to do so in the manual. We are expecting 15cm of snow tonight, so I have to use it as is for now. I am going to drain down the chaincase through the fill/level plug, then top off the...

This cant be good-oil gushing out of chaincase fill plug!!??

'94 753 I noticed my hydraulic oil was low, so I filled it, but thought it was strange that I added over a gallon and never had a drop previosuly on the shop floor. So I checked the level again after about a few hours of use. Its down again. I was checking other levels in the machine when I went...

My manual says to use 10w30 engine oil if the "bobcat" oil isnt available for the hydraulic system. Why not hydraulic oil? I have a 94 753 Thanks
