Hi all! I have to change the high pressure hose on the pump. I am sure that the entire system above that joint will leak out when that line is opened. Making a big mess. Are there any tricks to draining this out to keep the mess minimal? Thanks, Jim

I am having some noise issues with a 243HDS Thomas. Seems to have excessive noise while steering, but good going straight. Sounds OK when fluid is cold. Is this a drive motor problem? Are rebuild kit available? I have done some web searching, but haven't been able to find much. Thanks

Fluid level good.

I did fix all the leaks. Fluid should be up, but I will check today. Maybe a there was an air pocket in the system that worked its way out. I believe the filters had all been changed out the year before I purchased it. They all looked recently changed.

It's driving me nuts. I was hoping that someone else out there had run across the same problem. Are these pumps prone to cracking? Might have to get it magnafluxed.

I have replaced the O-rings on the Auxiliary and charge pump due to an oil leak at the rear of the Aux pump where aluminum center meets cast iron housing. 1st replaced with std oring, but leaked as it pinched, as was .010" too big. Polished all mounting surfaces and installed metric O-rings...

All good now. The low oil level in tank, pump must have caught some air, and created air bubbles. After topping up, was good the next day after all the air bubble dispersed. Thanks
