I purchased this machine a while back and used it very little. There had been some whining present while turning in either direction, but ok going in a straight line. I was using it tonight to dig out some stumps and the whining was getting progressively worse....getting hard on the ears. I am thinking this is going to be an expensive problem.........does this sound like the tandem pump is failing? Thanks

does it leak fluid? are all fluids topped off? when was the last time that the hydraulic filter was changed? (these questions help establish an idea of its condition for the ones of us that can not see it.)

I did fix all the leaks. Fluid should be up, but I will check today. Maybe a there was an air pocket in the system that worked its way out. I believe the filters had all been changed out the year before I purchased it. They all looked recently changed.
