Hello all, I have been having some issue with the injection pump bleeding down when the machine sits. I have troubleshooted it down to 2 bad delivery valves. (won't hold vacuum). This unit has a V1702 Kubota, as I am sure they all did. The tag on the injection pump reads 094500-1820 denso and also V1502. Internet search shows mixed information if both engine share the same pump. Can anyone provide any information on this? Performance wise, it seemed to have run fine. But I have nothing to compare it to. My thinking is the V1502 would be calibrated to provide less fuel than the V1702.

By bleeding down, do you mean it looses prime on you, making startup a little harder? I'd like to think that the fuel in the injector lines will never leak out, as it has to get through the nozzle of the injector and one way valve from the delivery nozzle at the pump.
Worst case, install an electric fuel pump so when you turn the key, you get fuel pressure to the pump, ready to fire up.
