    610 HELP

I've seen ones on-line that use #6587790, is that number accurate?

    610 HELP

GM- I just rebuilt my roto-valve and fit my variable speed sheave back together and they work GREAT! (BIG sigh of relief here!) I've only "yard driven" my 610 and haven't put much time on it yet but it seems that the oversize snap ring seems to be holding fine. The rebuild kit and seal kit ran...

    New to the Group

Hello skidzzz- Welcome to the Forum. You might want to try re-posting your thread in the New Holland section (go to the main Forum page and scroll down to New Holland). You're in the skid steer section of BOBCAT, in the New Holland section you'll likely find help with your machine. Lots of...

    610 HELP

That sounds like a good idea and a viable option. I am hoping this works, and my thought was that it was worth a try vs. pulling the engine side of the sheave, which looks to be no small task.

    610 HELP

The larger snap ring that goes inside the sheave and retains the roto valve. After doing more searching here and elsewhere I learned this is a common problem with that snap ring groove getting worn and allowing the valve to "walk" out of the sheave. I took a 1/4" die grinder and a small 1/16"...

    610 HELP

Hello guys, Haven't updated in a while, but finally got my 610 running great...but then.....(these machines do try your patience don't they?). I also have a problem with my variable sheave. It appears my snap ring groove reached the failure point, as you mentioned 6brnorma, the valve no longer...

    Bobcat 610 used starter

Selling a starter off my 610. When I bought the machine the previous owner said the starter was shot, so first thing I did was order a new one. It didn't have a battery when I got it so after installing a new one I figured I'd "give it try" and the original starter spun the VH4D over with no...

"New Guy" introduction. Just bought a M-160

It's really not much different than a standard gas engine. The carb is actually very simple. I'm no expert, but after tearing it apart it's not to bad. I just hope my clutches and drive assemblies are working. Hydraulics seem to be functioning fine. Hope to be moving dirt is a few weeks! :)

"New Guy" introduction. Just bought a M-160

Hello guys..... Sorry for the "lapse", this spring/summer was just to busy and the 610 slipped to the back burner. I finally got time to pull the carb, intake manifold, exhaust manifold and the propane vaporizer. Media blasted the manifolds, cleaned a TON of much out of the carb and some from...

"New Guy" introduction. Just bought a M-160

Sorry for the long lapse.....work and life in general has kept me busy and not much time for the 610. I finally got her started! Which is a GREAT feeling and a relief that nothing major appears to be wrong with the engine, however it will only run with the choke fully closed (my machine has the...

"New Guy" introduction. Just bought a M-160

Hey guys, Well progress is slow but it's getting there! New starter came and I got that installed yesterday (boy was that FUN!!! LOL!), just waiting for the new ignition parts to come and I'll get them in and hopefully see if she'll fire up. Also need a fresh propane tank to actually run it, but...

"New Guy" introduction. Just bought a M-160

I'm following eboucher.6's thread as it looks like his machine is quite similar to mine although a few years older. Went to my local NAPA today and bought a new battery and was pleased to learn they can get me all the filters and pretty much most items I might need for the VH4D engine.
