If you think you have water in the hydraulic system pull an oil sample and send it to a testing lab. I use Blackstone Labs when I need oil tested. There are other labs as well. Besides confirming your suspicians they will tell you if you have high levels of wear or particulates in the system...

Does anyone know if the Kubota or Perkins from an L555 will fit a Deere 675B? If so, what differences might I run into with the swap. I assume the hydraulic pump coupler might be one. Thanks, Jim

Check all of your ground connections. A bad ground with DC current will make all kinds of things happen. Makes things look bad that are ok because it back feeds the circuit. Just a thought.

Just a thought, check the ground to these items. A bad ground will drive you crazy on DC systems. Work one day not the next.

I was working on a 675B a week ago and found the boom solenoid coil shorted. It was creating issues that made the safety module look like it was bad. Had nothing in the run mode but was ok in the bypass other than no boom hydraulics. I think a good coil will ohm out at at about 5 ohms...

Did you check the suction screen? May be starving the pump when using the boom cylinders. Just a thought.

Found the problem. Battery was low, about 12.0 volts. Apparently the electronics like a fully charged battery at 13.6 volts. Once battery was fully charged the 6 amp breaker started to kick out when key was turned on. Found the boom lift solenoid was shorted. Replaced the coil on the solenoid...
