I found a used axle and hub assembly a bobcat dealer all for less than $400.00. Now to get the old axle out so I can install the new one.

The skidsteer serial number was 515835878. So I will have to check out some other sources. Thanks everyone for the info. I will post what I find.

The taper where the hub fits on is worn down where the wheel/hub turned on it after the key came out. The hub bolt came loose and it started wobbling before we noticed it. So yes, I'm gonna need both. Going to call the dealer service manager and see what he offers to do. It is the left front...

Can someone tell me if a 753 and a 773 axle assembly is interchangeable?

I have ran into the same problem with my 2001 773 front axle and hub. I had the seals repaired and some other repairs made at a Bobcat dealer about six months ago and had only used it a couple times when the front wheel came loose. I tightened it up and it came loose again later on another job...

That's good, I seen one on ebay that fits my loader that's a 90 amp alternator. That should be plenty and more.

Thanks, I'll check the voltage and see what, if any voltage it reads. So I can get a delco alternator, as long as it bolts on okay? Will it hurt anything if the amp output is a little higher?

I can charge the battery and it will last for 2 to 3 weeks and then go dead. Usually when I'm doing a job and I have to jump start it. The battery light doesn't come on till the battery is too low to crank the motor. Is the diode located in the alternator?
