OK so i opened up the housing for the drive belt and like you said the belt was shredded and off the pulley, i cut it out and was inspecting the damage, should the Idler or tension pulley be able to move lateral seems like there is alot of play in it, also what do you recomend to clean of parts...

I lifted the cab on my 853 to degrease and find a hydro leak when I saw a wire disconnected from a electrical switch,( there are 2 of them, 1 located on each hydrulic steering piston. Does anyone know what they do? I took some pics if my discription is bad. Newbie Brian

I took the side panels off my 853 so that I could pressure wash the inside and get it cleaned up for leak dectection. There is about 4 inches of sludge and water in the compartments, My question is, is there supposed to be a drain plug or drainage outlet for all this water to go to? Thanks Newbie

I was able to replace all 3 belts on my 853 in 7 hours, I started with the drive belt and everything was exactley as stated in the posted directions, it took a little over an hour to pull the old belt out replace with the new one, the 9/16th bolt holding the idler was the hardest to get started...
