I have a CT322 that wiring seams fine by tracing it and I have replaced door switch. But door indicator light will not go out and allow unit to crank. I have looked for bare wires and unhooked battery trying to reset computer but still have the light. Any ides?

I noticed a f974 code. when I went to check battery the negative was unhooked. When the unit was jump started the cable came off when cable was removed. I charged the battery and have 12.94 now. Cleaned connections and attached, fuses ok and relays ok, still no glow plug light and will not turn over and door still says its open.

It's starting to sound like it could be the controller......
Have you been able to talk to the dealer and see if they have any ideas?

Dealer now says that's most likely the issue now. Spoke to them last week and checked a couple more things. Problem I have is at 170/hr and they are 1 hour away plus 400 for trip charge to check. So before they even look at it I will have 740 in finding out it is maybe that. They say they need to check it in the machine. otherwise I would remove it and take it to them. Wonder how bad they are for $. this machine worked great for the first month and it has been nothing but an electrical nightmare since. Switches and relays! and whatever this is.

Ouch, that is a lot to put into it just to check then you will have parts on top of that....
What is a new computer worth?
The only other thing is to check each and every connector for corrosion....
Shame you don't know 100% that the controller is the issue, as the $740 would be better put into the controller than to get a tech out to check it.

Went through all fuse and relays last night and checked and worked them in sockets to try and get better connections. No change. I am going read more in my tech manual tonight to see if there is an actual written controller test. Other than have them come out.

It turns out there is a wire to starter on monitor circuit and it had fell off the starter. It is a push on connector. I am going to have to find a way to fasten it better. Once the wire was attached light went away and glow plug circuit lit up and it cranked right over! DANG ELECTRICAL!

So simple.... Just glad you found it though.
In cars, they have special blade fittings that you need to press a button to allow them to release. Really, yours should have had the same to not allow it to fall off from vibrations.
If you can, you can squash the sides of the socket a little to make it a tighter fit on the starter.
