Ok si u have a Jd 6675 but am told its basicly a new holland lx665 machine. Im new to it and may have bought something that needs more then i anticipated. but at this point i want to fix it. Anyway when i first got the machine i noticed making sharp turns it would growl and struggle and bog the engine down. didnt matter if the idle was low or high. But will travel strait forward and reverse with no problems. WAs more noticable on the pavement then in the grass when turning sharp. The bushings and pins were shot in the boom and ive now replaced those and tried to dig a pile of dirt with it . Ive noticed it seems weak driving into the pile even strait. Tires wont spin it would just tart growling. If that makes sense. any help on where to begin? I hae a service manual but without gauges its hard to test alot of the major componets.

Ok played with it more today , it lifts and dumps fast . But driving into a sort pile it will moan and groan and big the engine down. Could I be leaning towards the charge pump ?

If it pulls the engine down then the hydros should be ok. The 6665 is like the 565 and thus lower in horse power. Your description souns normal for that hp range.

https://www.deere.com/en_US/docs/construction/non_current_products/skid_steers/75.pdf Yes, Mike is right. This literature shows the 6675 and 7775 nearly the same specs wise except for hp and flow so that proves the that 6675 is the lesser of the hp.... around 42hp. Mine will will spin tires in soft dirt pushing on a tree. Hard sufaces, no way. Hard/quick turns will pull the engine down as well. Might just use it for a while and get used to its quirks and noises before working on anything.

but it makes a loud growling sound, or grinding sound when making turns or going into the pile . but no noise when its going strait forward or reverse. the sound just seems bad. and sometimes it wont turn it just growls. let off and go again and it will turn and make a lil less noise.
