How old is the machine? and more to the point, when did you last change the coolant?
As far as i was aware, *most* coolant is fluro green or yellow. When its brown its time to change. If you have never changed it, i would dump it and replace it with fresh coolant.

If it is a real orange color it could be extended life coolant. You see this used in newer vehicles. or like tazz says it could be brown (dirty) and needs to be changed out.

Bobcat does have ther own brand that is bright orange, If its do to change you can switch it back to standard green, or pick up some from bobcat until you wish to change it out.
Also some brands claim to be compatible with any color extended life coolant, Ie Celsius, a Canadian brand

If it was me, i'd be changing coolant every 2 years. I'm not sure if it breaks down with heat or if its just time. If its an 03 machine, i would change it for sure.
