Where trying to sell our used bobcat 843... That was given to us asgift like 7 years ago and we can't get a hold of the last owner... The buyers require paperwork which we don't have.... My question is, is there a way to get some current paperwork for a bobcat.. through other means?

I don't know what type of paper work you are looking for. My state does not title Bobcats, so I bought mine with just a Bill of Sale, which you can type up yourself. The purchaser is probably looking for some assurance that you're not trying to sell him a stolen machine. A dealer can call Bobcat and confirm that the serial number of your machine is not on the list of stolen equipment the company maintains.

Thank you... I'll get right on that, you wouldn't know where the serial number would be on a bobcat?

Looking from the rear of the machine, it should be on the left inner side near the radiator.
Over here in Australia, we don't need those details either. I think your buyer doesn't know what they are talking about.
If they really need a number, get them to take the engine number, at least it is something to tie it to the machine.
