A minor word to the wise. Always carry at least 2 spare flat face hydrualic fittings for the attachments for your machine. As older posters and readers of this forum will remember there is not any piece of equipment or machinery that I can not break, bog down, or F--- up in normal working conditions. Only ten minutes into a job on a Saturday I managed to smash the lower fitting off and sprayed fluid everywhere. Yeahh!!!! It only cost $45/fitting and 3 hrs lost.

You may want to even buy a complete set, in case you damage the attachment end connector also. I broke some fitting about 30 minutes into a job on a Friday evening and had to wait until Saturday morning to get a replacement. I think I spent about about $250 that day on for the 2 I damaged plus 4 spares. I bought one male and one female for the loader side and a male and female for the attachment hose side. The hard line and hydraulic hose fittings are different. The machine end is a tapered JIC connection and the hose end is pipe thread with an o-ring seal.

I must say that I am heartened to see that untoward things happen to other operators also. It is all part of the learning curve.
