tilt piston rod pins and bushings

i just bought an S160,never owned or operated one before.it wont take grease in the 2 nipples for the tilt piston rod ends.i took the nipples out and pulled the pins out and there is no hole in the bushing to allow grease through.the pins are wore out a little but should i just replace the bushings and pins and any idea how much for those 2 sets of pins and bushings.thanks

I hear you on that one , Bobcat in their great wisdom made the bushing that drives into the chromed rod end with a grease journal machined in the OD of the bushing , and then when they install the bushing they don't line up the journal holes of the bushing with the grease zerk , from not greasing the machine frequently enough the grease gets hard in that grease jounal "track" and /or it gets mixed with dirt if the pin and bushing is a loose fit ------------the easiest way I have found to clear such a clogg is to remove the pin and use a tourch to heat the bushing right in the middle all the way around , it don't have to be cherry red just enough to make it start to smoke and you may see grease start to worm out the holes , " TAKE THE GREASE FITTING OUT BEFORE DOING THIS " < as the little ball in the end will shoot out like a shotgun when heated , if you don't have an acctylene torch then a MAPP gas torch like the plumbers use will surfice , once hot put the grease fitting back in and pump it with a good quailty grease gun that will produce 10,000 psi and not one of the Auto Zone $9.99 specials , if it don't clear out then do it again with a little more heat ----------------- grease the machine every 8 hours of use with quaility grease and this won't happen

couldnt get drilled through so i replaced them
