Hi All, I have a early SN# 843 bobcat. It sheared the drive coupling so i removed the pumps and all hoses to get to the drive in between .. My problem is my manual is very unclear on the hook-up of hoses..i tried to mark with paint but oil is a great paint remover. I'm pretty sure i have them hooked up right after several attempts and 1 blown up hydralic filter.. The bobcat now has lift and tilt on bucket ,but my drive is not working properly. the left side surges very erraticly with th lever forward or back ..[seems like air in system], but i have no right side drive at all..i did lose lots of oil and unit is foaming up very bad. Do i have to prime the drive pumps first? I am not getting any oil from the tee that mounts on the front of the port block that goes to both pumps when unit is running...should I? Any help would be appreciated...
