On my 2001 763 I have the foot or hand options for bucket control, I've always used the joystick controls for bucket lift and tilt, although I was never impressed with the speed of lifting a loaded bucket, just thought it was the nature of the beast, the other day I switched over to foot control and the speed of the lift is almost twice as fast..is this normal?

The speeds should be the same, maybe something is either loose or binding up in the handle not allowing complete travel of the sensor mechanism.

Well I figured it out,, I actually looked in my manual and noticed there was a calibration procedure for the Hand/Foot models, it amounted to getting in, with key on (not started) hit the press to operate and bring both joysticks in and hold them, turning the key off and back on, you will hear 3 beeps and the ACS light comes on, let off the sticks and Voila, the lift on the joystick is the same as the foot pedals,,,, not sure how it got out of calibration but. Never doubt the power of the manual!!!

Glad you found the solution....I'll have to remember that one.
