Hey im new to this fourm and this is my first post. I bent the mounting plate on my New holland LS160, i was trying to take it off so i can take it to my friends body shop and straighten it on his frame straightener. i got the tilt cylinders disconnected from the plate just fine. then i took out the bolts at the pivot point and that's where i got stuck. Im assuming there are some tapered bushings predded in there holding the plate on. but i dont want to start pulling and banging on stuff. any ideas?

Remove the grease nipples fo the lower pins and thread a over length bolt into them and drive them towards the center of the loader by pounding on the head of the bolt.
When you put it back together be sure the tapers are clean and re torque the bolts a could time as you use it to besure they seat into the arms again.

Depending on where you bent it, when I bent mine, all I did was "dump" the mounting plate about halfway. On the side that is bent back too far place a 4x4 between the stiop on the loader arm the stop on the plate. Power back the plate about twice as far as it's bent, dump it and get out and align it. Keep doing this until it's straight. If you bend it too far simply put the 4x4 on the other side and repeat.
I actually ended up putting it back together and sticking a sledge between the plate and the frame and pulled back on the plate. i did this and checked it a few times. that fixed it! i am going to pull the plate back off soon and replace the bushings at the piviot points because i noticed quite a bit of play in them.
