Thank you that's what I've heard. I found one other option on that. I'm going too try tap into the fill tube and run a new pickup line down into the tank.I'll let you know how it works. The service manual says the engine/pump assembly has to come out. On some other models people have said they were able to do it without taking out the engine but with the metal shield the 963 has over the tank that may not be possible.
reply from yesterday cut fuel fill hose about 4 inches before tank put in a piece of pipe drilled a hole installed a 90 fitting ran new pickup line into tank reinstalled fill hose to new piece of pipe ran new hose to primary filter. runs great worked out awesome. didn't have to pull motor. thanks again.Thank you that's what I've heard. Others have done it this way too, not sure why they put it in a place that is so hard to access....reply from yesterday cut fuel fill hose about 4 inches before tank put in a piece of pipe drilled a hole installed a 90 fitting ran new pickup line into tank reinstalled fill hose to new piece of pipe ran new hose to primary filter. runs great worked out awesome. didn't have to pull motor. thanks again.
