Hi All Can anyone tell me if the boom cylinders have a replaceable bush at the top pivot point where the boom pin is? The parts diagram shows a bush at the bottom pivot but not at the top. Also, has anyone fabricated their own replacement pins to save paying for genuine ones? I'm in Australia...

My LX565 boom sometimes drifts down when I'm using the machine. It drops fairly quickly, probably 20 seconds it will go all the way from all the way up to the ground. Seems worse when it is cold. Sometimes I can fix it by doing some quick up and down movements with the pedal. So it doesn't do it...

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately here in Australia we don't have as much range in the stores available. My dealer is asking $60 each but didn't have any in stock so I opened up mine and put a little lubrication on the actuator. It is working well now and I see no reason to think it won't last.

I took the relay out and proved that it is sluggish to operate. I would like to source one but the only markings on it is logansport.in. I searched google but had no luck finding anything like it. I'm thinking I should probably replace the start relay as well but it scares me to think how much...

Mine had similar symptoms when I ran low on fuel and got air into the system. I had to bleed the injector lines with the engine running and after it was fine again.

Thanks Mike. What is the benefit though of modifying it to have a common reservoir? From memory was it because the seal on the shaft was prone to leaking which would drain your gearbox oil into the chain case?
