motorcycle engine repower for my M610

I believe the M444 used an Onan engine That was the predecessor to the M500/M600/M610 Not sure what kind of torque the suzuki makes, but pretty sure the high RPMs would need to be dealt with somehow.

610 Hyd Fluid Drain Thread Size

I have a 444 and a either 500 or 600, and they both use a 3/4 NPT. I'm sure a 610 would be the same. It will measure right at 1" across.

    need help rebuilding piston

As a general rule, 6 point sockets are not any thinner than 12 point. That's not to say the one you find, won't be thinner than what you've got. I have turned sockets down with a grinder, but it's a long slow process, and I hate to do that to a socket. I usually try to find a cheap generic, and...

voltage loss on 2000 763G bobcat

Do you have another battery you could swap in just to try. Had a similar experience with RK batteries. Long story short; took the 4th one (2 weeks old) to TSC as a $10 core; problem solved. Still shop there, but won't buy their batteries.

Distance between sheaves on M series

No discernible difference in the chassis that I can see. Pretty hard to get measurements on an assembled machine, but even the crossmembers the engines bolt to are in the same location. The important thing for me is getting the spacing right for the belt I want to use. Again; I appreciate the help.

Distance between sheaves on M series

6b.... Thanks for checking that. That explains the 4" difference in belts. Will have to see where the difference is at. Shouldn't be hard to spot. Noticed the other day Bobcat's website no longer covers the specs. for these machines, but was thinking they were the same overall length. Probably...

Distance between sheaves on M series

6b... Thanks for the response and the info. Yes it looked like now was a good time to ask, as I count 3 guys with machines apart. Don't know my ser# as the tag is missing. Will have to remove the side cover and look there. Have a little work to do with machine right now so don't want to tear...

Distance between sheaves on M series

Wondering if someone can supply me with the proper distance between the drive and driven sheaves on a M series ( 500; 600; or 610 ) I have what I believe to be a M500 that I plan on repowering. Problem is someone repowered it before and got the engine quite crooked. I have a M444 that I measured...
