You can email Bobcat with the serial number and they will get you the manufacture date.Trying to work out what year my 743 bobcat is based off the serial number? 5067 381xx
ok thanksYou can email Bobcat with the serial number and they will get you the manufacture date.
Here's something most people do not get about these machines. They are not treated like cars. These machines can actually be on a dealer lot for several years before selling as brand new. So a machine sold new in 2000 may have a manufacture year in the 1990's.

ok thanks will give them a callany dealer can tell you of you contact them, other wise sorry cannot help!
I got it for free off a mate that brought it new as far as i know so all good.calling bobcat with a VIN check, they also do a VIN check and will know if a unit was ever reported stolen
Bobcat also used to run a vin check any time a customer uses a vin for ordering parts
over the decades they founds tons of stolen machines by doing this
good and bad though, is if you somehow bough ta used machine and they find it reported stolen, you can possibly loose your machine and be out the cash you paid for it! as it would be going bad to to ever reported it stolen(or ins company)
laving you with a loss, or have to sue who ever you bought it from for $ back and them repeat if they also bought it unknowingly stole and so on!
so like all things there are pros and con's
