I am repairing a burned 287b cat with bosch VE injection pump that got pretty warm. I have found a replacement pump that was supposed to be for a generator (run at idle then constant speed). What parts do I need to swamp out of my old one to calibrate the fuel for the new one?

If its the same pump, you should be simply be able to throw the replacement one at it, it should have a govenor built in like the old one if its off a generator. I'm not too sure how the turbo works with it though, i assumed it had some type of advance lever to give more/less fuel depending on the amount of boost.
Hopefully someone else is a little more clued up on this and will chime in.
