anybody ever put tractor or loader tires on their skid steer? At one time you could bolt up the tires from a Case 580 loader onto a 95XT skid steer. We need more ground clearance and better mudding ability. Anyone running a 12.5/80-18? Anybody put 14-17.5 tires on a skid steer with 12-16.5? If you got 'em, post a pic!

I'm certainly no expert here, but I suppose you can do this if the wheel/tire physically fits, but you could have an issue with the wheel offset being too far in or out, affecting the stability of the machine and potentially roll-over. But more importantly, if you raise the ground clearance with taller tires, you will likely also affect the "bottom" point of the bucket, which can greatly effect the bucket operation.

Better let he experts chime in here.

Tractor tires won't have the rigid sidewalls skidsteer tires have. I would suspect that you might pop a bead once you start turning
