I spoke to someone up at Thomas within the past week and if I understood correctly, the date code for a Thomas machine is in the model number: Example 1: Model #: B103/153 ( "A" is 1990, "B" is 2000 with a single digit year following it. If this convention holds, "B" would be 2000, "1" translates into 2001 and "03"would mean March. Restated, the date code most likely means the unit was manufactured in March 2001. Can anyone confirm this? ThomasTech, you out there? What I'm really after is confirmation on the machine I just purchased. A607/T133S - July 1996 manufacture date? Thanks in advance.

AlphaBob, you are right on how to read the model number for the date code.
Great! Thanks Coldheart - news is especially good because the guy who sold me the machine said he wasn't sure, but he thought it was a 2004. Turns out to be a 1996 - the machine I purchased is a model A607/T133S. Needs some TLC, but overall its in pretty good shape - just 1717 hours - well now make that 1719 after I spent some time tearing up the yard yesterday!
