My current oil cooler is leaking from multiple spots and causing a mess as it drips on the fan below. I have been trying to locate a new or used T250 oil exchange cooler for the last 3 months. no dealer carries new ones and I cannot locate a used one anywhere. ive called local radiator repair shops and none seem too confident they can repair a metal oil cooler, leaving me to continue to fins a replacement. based on my serial number, my oil cooler should be part number 7103750. anyone have any recommendations for finding a replacement or a cross-referenced part number that would work?

How bad is it leaking?
I actually repaired one on my S250 a good 15 years ago now, still doesn't leak a drop. If you have any friends that have an oxy torch and a sand blaster, i'm confident they could repair it for you.
Mine rusted and was leaking in pultiple spots. I took out sandy the sand blaster and took all the paint and rust off it. It gave a good surface for me to silver solder the holes up. Get some blue tip silver solder and flux. It isn't cheap, being 45% silver from memory, but it melts at a lower temperature and flows very well.
Hopefully your leak is only small, and you can just blast the bad spot then weld it up.
Feel free to look up my profile and email me some pictures of the samage and i can try and give you advise. I understand a radiator shop not wanting to do it, they can't promise it will work, if i can repair one and not have it leak, i'm sure others can too.
