I have a very sticky left pedal which makes operation difficult. I'm hoping there's a way to grease it to loosen it up. Can anyone describe exactly how to grease it properly?

Forgot to mention - it's a model 2070.
It could be stiff at the pedal or even the control valve. You may want to disconnect the linkage to the control block, and see if the linkage is free to the pedal or not, isolate the issue.

More then likely it is a rusted or seized control cable.

Here are some photos. I havent had a chance to disconnect the linkage and try that but I definitely dont have cables. Any more ideas? http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j405/serenaandscotty/craigslist/F29DA0F6-F2A7-46AB-A51E-70379EDC6154.jpg http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j405/serenaandscotty/craigslist/ADCD82B8-78C3-478E-A526-2096917BA5F8.jpg

The pictures do show cables.... Those are push/pull cables there.
If you disconnect them at the control block, then operate the pedals, see if they are still stiff or not.

Thanks tazza. Yup I would unhook the cables in back. More then likely a rusted cable
