Snow tires

I've got an M500 with 7.00-15 SkidSteer tires which are not great on snow and ice. The M500 only weighs about 3000lbs and was thinking about trying some block tread LT studded tires. Has anyone here tried studded truck snow tires on a smaller Bobcat?

No experience with studs, but tire chains are another alternative. We recently fitted our 773 with chains, works good.

I have an M600, which is similar to your machine. I put some chains on the rear wheels and they work well. I bought a new old stock set of chains on eBay. I think they were intended for an old army jeep, but they fit perfectly. They were around $50, if I remember correctly. Tim in Mass
