S590 Front Cab 12V Power For Accessory

Are there any auxiliary power options in the front cab that could be spliced into to power a 12V accessory when the key is turned? Guessing the cigarette lighter would be one option but was hoping to find something that could be plugged into or spliced to be out of the way. The accessory item would be a backup camera LCD screen.

As a rule, the lighter is hot all the time, chances are likely that there will be a switched spare port in the fuse block that can be used.
If not, you can probably piggy-back onto an exiting circuit providing that your accessory draw and the draw of the existing item is below the fuse rating.

Did you find a power source for your camera system? I am looking to do the same thing.

You may get lucky if your machine has a little tool box on the right hand side near your lap. The little tool box isnt mounted down, it just lifts up. Under the box on our newer t770 there is a plugged wire connector with live power. I found it by accident when I was going to tap into the cigarette lighter power for a two way radio. Its keyed power that is there for an accessory that isnt in all machines.
